Workshops
Definition according to Webster:
Have an idea of something you'd like to see covered in a Workshop?
Typically, our workshops are 2 hours long. Some topics can not be adequately covered in 2 hours so the workshops may be extended in 2 hour increments. The topics can be as varied as the presenter has information and interest to share.
This is not a lecture; we want our students to have hands on experience at the computer as well as to leave with a sense of accomplishment and better understanding of the subject.
We hope to pique the interest of participants, so that all will bring good ideas, questions, curiosity and eagerness to share in the project.
Presenters will handout an outline of the workshop, along with a CD containing program information or material that will supplement the written plan if necessary/applicable.
The cost of the workshop is $10 per 2 hour session, on a first come, first serve basis. The date, time and topic will be posted here,on our website.
