We invite you as a local business owner to participate in a win-win opportunity to support our mission and gain publicity for your business. Are you aware that the Gold country Computer Learning Center (GCCLC) has quietly taught computer skills to over 2,500 people in our community, many of whom had no previous computer experience?  After attending our low-cost classes, they are now excited to use their computers to shop online or keep in touch by email.  This is your opportunity to put your business name in front of more than 540 students per year, 14,000 monthly hits on our website and the many individuals who visit GCCLC.

Here are some of our impressive accomplishments:
Developed a curriculum of over 25 low-cost classes and workshops from customizing and maintaining Windows, to Word Processing, Email, Digital Photography, etc.
In the past year we provided more than 20 donated and refurbished computers to individuals who otherwise could not afford one.
As an all-volunteer organization, we are able to offer very low-cost classes.  Our 72 volunteers donate over 5,500 hours each year.

We continue to grow, with recent expansion to include back-to-work computer training and a continuing lab-type class that will allow individuals to work on real-life projects to help develop their business computer skills. We’re an all volunteer organization and the cost of our classes covers our expenses for printing manuals, rent, utilities, etc.  But to keep our equipment and software up-to-date we rely on the generosity of the community.  We all know how fast technology moves, it’s essential to keep our classrooms up-to-date.

Please take a moment to download a Sponsorship Form and review the many levels of recognition in which you can participate.  If you have questions, please contact Bob Reeves at (530) 265-2866.
