GCCLC Speaker's Bureau

You heard it here first!

The Gold Country Computer Learning Center is developing a Speaker’s Bureau, whose members will go into the community to share information about the computer classes, workshops, seminars and user group meetings we provide. A steering committee of six people will prepare material, offer speaker training, and keep the data bases current. Speakers will be selected from our members who will commit to a small number of hours per year, thereby allowing more people to participate in activities other than teaching or coaching.

Summer Seminars

Summer Seminars Focus on MS Office Products

Although Word is the most popular program, Microsoft Office also comes with other powerful software tools. In this series of 2 seminars, GCCLC is presenting an overview of Excel and Access. Here is an opportunity to learn how these tools can help you manage your personal finances or small business.

The Excel seminar was in June.

In July, the focus will be on the database tool, Access. Join us for demonstrations of practical uses of Access at home and in the office.

Anne is a volunteer with the AARP Tax-Aide program preparing taxes for moderate-income folks here in Nevada County as well as an IRS enrolled agent who had an income tax and bookkeeping practice in the Bay Area prior to retiring to Rough & Ready.
