Announcing Our Next Feature Friday

Are You Infected?

director

Internet Bad Guys Have a New Wrinkle
May 18, 10am-noon

Last November, Federal agents arrested six Estonians on charges of Internet fraud. It is estimated that over 500,000 personal computers around the world are still infected with this malware virus. The virus changes the way your PC uses the Internet.

After mid-July, Internet users around the world who still have the virus will find that their browser is unable to correctly access the Internet. Find out if you have it what to do about it! Get a better understanding of what "IT" is! Check out our May Feature Friday here. If you want to check your computer beforehand, click here.

 Retired Senior Volunteer Program

RSVP, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Nevada County, recruits volunteers 55 years of age and older and places them in volunteer opportunities that match their skills and interests.  RSVP of Nevada County is federally funded and is locally sponsored by Area 4 Agency on Aging.

We are one of 750 RSVP programs throughout the country funded through the Corporation for National and Community Service.  To learn more about RSVP nationally and other Senior Corps programs, visit their website at www.nationalservice.org.

In April, GCCLC volunteers logged 773 hours.
